Kwame Nkrumah profoundly shaped my African consciousness and Pan-Africanist convictions. As fellow West Africans educated at HBCUs, I find inspiration in his belief that Ghana's independence was meaningless without Africa's total liberation. His philosophy reinforced my commitment to African unity, intellectual emancipation, and self-determination. I am Nigerian by nationality, West African by geography, Pan-Africanist by conviction, and unapologetically African by consciousness.
